The Network City and Landscape (NSL) carries out projects that are based on actual problems in the fields of spatial, urban and landscape planning. Among other activities, NSL professors develop decision-making tools in the form of dynamic scenarios that allow them to demonstrate the middle- and long-term consequences of a decision on the social and economic development of an area or country. NSL-affiliated professors also work on practical, innovative and sometimes experimental projects from current practice.
Many projects are implemented by the participating Chairs. In addition, there are also large interdisciplinary NSL projects.
