In October 2007, an international research laboratory was set up at ETH Zurich. A collaborative project of the ETH Zurich, the HafenCity University of Hamburg, the University of Karlsruhe, the University of Stuttgart, the Technical University of Vienna, and the Technical University of Munich, the project laboratory will offer an exchange platform for doctoral students during the three-year doctoral study programme.
