Methodology for efficiency evaluations of capacity expansion for existing railway networks
The goal of part of this dissertation is to prove that it is methodologically possible to conduct a consistent capacity evaluation and efficiency estimation for expansion measures even in early project stages. Special attention is focused on the area of conflict between the requirements of the network users and an optimal network load.
