31 May 2018, 18:00 | Lecture by Jennifer Goff

ETH Zürich Hönggerberg, Siemens Auditorium HIT E 51

Im Rahmen des Workshops «Gender Research in Architecture. Methodologies for the Flora Ruchat-Roncati Project» lädt das Forschungsteam herzlich ein zum

Vortrag von Jennifer Goff, «Eileen Gray – a Grey Experience» (anschliessend Apéro)

The lecture will look at why Gray was omitted from the canon of modern architecture and design and why she was forgotten about until the latter part of her life. Even after her rediscovery – It will question whether she is being valued as the talented and philosophical designer and architect that she was, or is she valued more as a commodity whose work achieves record prices at auction.
