Public lecture series coordinated and moderated by Dr. Jennifer Duyne Barenstein, ETH Wohnforum – ETH CASE.

This public lecture series focuses on the role of housing cooperatives in the provision of affordable housing and liveable neighbourhoods. It will be opened by Prof. Dr. Christian Schmid with a lecture on «100 years of Housing cooperatives in Zürich: from a pioneering model of urban development to a laboratory for urban living» to be followed by a number of invited lecturers associated to the housing cooperative movement in Switzerland.
